Deadly attack at Fort Hood

A shocking news today is coming from Fort Hood Army Post, Texas. It is an Army psychiatrist, Major Nidal Malik Hasan that opened fire at the Army post on Thursday. It is reported that 12 Dead and 31 others hurt this deadly attack. Confused and shocked, the mass shooting at military base is believed to be the worst in the United States Army history.

Major Nidal Malik Hasan is a 39-year old psychiatrist. He had transfered to Fort Hood in July from Walter Reed Medical Center where he received a poor performance evaluation. He is just about to be deployed overseas.

Hasan, the gunman, first said to have been killed but actually alive and now in stable condition under military guard.

Indonesian Police confirmed Noordin M Top's Death

After seven years wanted, the Malaysian Mass Murderer Noordin M Top is confirmed dead yesterday (Friday, September 18 2009). The death of Noordin M Top was announced by the Indonesian Police Chairman. I quote below article form english.kompas.com

Indonesian police say DNA tests have confirmed terrorist leader Noordin Top was killed days ago in a shootout with police.

National Police spokesman Nanan Sukarna said Saturday that DNA tests supported the findings of an earlier fingerprint identification.

Last month, authorities initially believed a terror suspect killed by police was Noordin, but DNA tests proved otherwise.

Noordin, who police say is responsible for a string of deadly bombings in the country since 2002, died Thursday after a gun battle at a safe house in central Java.

"There’s no longer any doubt," Sukarna said. Last month, authorities initially believed a terror suspect killed by police was Noordin, but DNA tests proved otherwise.

After his death, Noordin, The Mass Murderer is to be Flown back to Malaysia for funeral. Poor Noordin.
